The device name that you are seeing is the device's GUID. If you see this it is considered a failed signup and the device is not communicating with the server correctly. The device is not return the information needed during the initial Send Inventory command. This can be caused by multiple things. If the device is a tablet that is setup with a data plan it has to have a SIM card in the device even if the SIM card is not active. If you receive this device name please run the send inventory command on the device and check the commands tab of the device. If the command fails or stays at processing remove the profile from the device and delete it out of your mobile device manager. Navigate to your web portal and sign up the device again. If possible do this with wifi off.
